The Wood County Sheriff's Tax Office is responsible for the collection of Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes, mailing of the tax statements in July, and the selling of delinquent Real Estate taxes in November. The Tax Office distributes tax funds to county, municipalities and schools; receipts are supplied with payment showing distribution. We offer renewals for automobile registration and a convenient drive-thru for easy payments.

Free Validated Parking is available for 1 hour for persons dealing with taxes. It is located between the Blennerhassett Hotel and the new Produce Tent. Bring your ticket to be validated.
