Vital Statistics
Vital Statistics. That sort of sums up everything, doesn't it?
Here's where you'll find records of births and deaths, wills,
corporation records, and just about any kind of miscellaneous
record you can think of. Needless to say, it's another favorite
haunt of genealogists.
In addition to viewing these records, you can also buy copies
of the ones you need. Certified copies are $5.00 each.
Birth and death records begin in 1853. To get a copy, you'll
need:
- For a birth record: birth date and the person's name at birth
- For a death record: date of death and the person's name at
death
