The Ballot Commission will meet at 4:00PM on September 12, 2016 in the Office of the County Clerk to review the ballot for the November 8 General Election.
The next election will be the General Election held on November 8, 2016.
Uniformed and Overseas Voters may apply for an absentee ballot between January 1 thru November 2, 2016. All other voters may apply between August 16 and November 2, 2016.
Voter Registration Deadline is Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Early Voting will be conducted at the Judge Black Annex.
Dates are: Wednesday, October 26 thru Saturday, November 5, 2016
Hours are: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Saturdays - 9:00am to 5:00pm
Community Voting Sites will be conducted on the following dates:
Tuesday, November 1 through Saturday, November 5, 2016

Vienna City Building
Williamstown City Building
Any registered Wood County voter may vote at any of the above locations. If voting on Election Day, however, you must go to your precinct location.
Poll workers are appointed by the Republican and Democratic Executive Committees. If you are interested in being a poll worker please contact our office at 304-424-1860 and we will direct you to the appropriate person to sign up.

The attached Absentee Ballot Application must be printed, signed and submitted to the County Clerk by Wednesday, November 2, 2016. This may be done in person in Room 403 of the Wood County Courthouse; by mailing to Wood County Clerk, PO Box 1474, Parkersburg, WV 26102; by emailing to firstname.lastname@example.org; or by faxing to 304-424-1982
